Mr. Robert Carlton “Bob” Lucas,( 69), of Pine Mountain, passed away on March 26, 2023. 

Mr. Lucas was born on Oct. 1, 1953, in Manchester, Georgia to the late Guy Kenneth Lucas and Vivian Oliver Lucas. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Kenneth Lucas, a brother-in-law, Johnny Carlisle and a sister-in-law, SuGay Lucas.

Bob was a carpenter for most of his life and specialized in rebuilding antique structures. He grew up restoring cars and had several during those years. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Brooks; sisters, Kim Carlisle of Manchester and Nancy Lucas Neely of Manchester; brother, Barry Lucas of Harris City; brother-in-law, All Hudgins (Debbie) of Savannah; sisters-in-law, Debbie Thompson (Benny) of Shiloh and Ann Vance (Chuck) of Marietta; nieces and nephews, Guy Carlisle (Shelly), Caleb Neely (Angel), Sharlie Neely Rader (Brandyn), Jessi Hale (Josh), Haley Jo Lucas, Dennis Hudgins (Cindy), Eric Thompson (Brandy), Blake Thompson, Brad Driver; extended family and friends.

The family will have visitation on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 1 P.M. – 2 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand.
