TCSS schools will be open Wednesday, alternate bus routes made for areas impacted by tornado

All Troup County schools and departments will be open and operate as normal on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
“We understand many roads are still closed for various reasons after the recent weather,” TCSS said in a press release. “The Troup County School System Transportation Department has been out all day checking many of our school buses’ routes for travel.”
The following bus routes will be altered for the rest of the week:

“We hope to resume normal picks for students after spring break, depending on the conditions of the roads,” TCSS said. “If not, parents and guardians will be notified by school principals through SendIt, the Troup County School System notification system. The school system will continue to monitor road conditions and provide further updates as necessary. Thank you for your support and patience as we strive to ensure the safety and health of students and staff.”
