The LaGrange Police Department is investigating a shooting Sunday in the area of McGregor Street and Colquitt Street that left a man in critical condition.

When officers arrived to the area, they located the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center for treatment and was subsequently transported to a metro area hospital.

The LaGrange Police Department is asking the public for its assistance with the case. Anyone who was in the area and saw or heard anything is urged to call the LPD at (706) 883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at (706) 812-1000.
