Mr. Eddie Marvin Person, a Franklin, Georgia native, passed away Friday in Carrollton, Georgia.

He was born Dec. 8, 1940, to the late Ora Lee Person and Harvey Lee Daniel in Heard County, Georgia.

He was a graduate of the Mary Johnson School, served in the US Army, and retired from Franklin Aluminum.

Eddie served faithfully at Mt. Zion Community Church.

Survivors include his children:  Phyllis (Jerome) Horsley, Alesia (Gary) Morgan of Franklin, Georgia; Janet Person of Atlanta, Georgia; Jennifer (Milford) Williams of Franklin, Georgia; and Cheryl Strozier of LaGrange, Georgia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sisters: Ethel Kilby, Lizzie Brewer, Lois Person, Amelia Daniel, and Emma Daniel; brothers:  Felton (Mary Ann) Person, Charlie Daniel, Robert (Selena) Daniel, and Johnny Daniel; brother-in-law, Artie Kilby; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

The Service will be Saturday at 11 A.M. at Mt. Zion Community Church.

The excellent care of Mr. Person is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
