With the spring season over and a long break before the fall season gets underway, Legends FC has some special summer plans in place. On Saturday, June 17 at 2 p.m. the team will be hosting FC LA Libertad — a Guatemalan team that competes in Segunda División de Ascenso — for an international friendly at Callaway Stadium.

“Our players are super excited and we want the whole community to come out and support us and our international friends,” said John Fuller, Legends FC president.

It is a big opportunity for the fledgling LaGrange-based club to test themselves against some international talent.

This game came through the relationship Legends FC has forged with North Georgia United as it will allow LA Libertad to play two games in the states. With the help of North Georgia United, this will serve as great exposure for a team that is still finding its footing in year one.

Members of both teams will be available after the match for autographs. Tickets will be $25.
