Chick Fil-A on Commerce Avenue is closed after 27 years of business as the location transitions to its new home on Vernon Road.

The Commerce location officially served customers for the last time on Thursday and will be reopening at its new location, named Chick Fil-A Hills & Dales, soon.

“We are going to be opening here in just a few weeks,” said Chick Fil-A Operator Joshua Sells, from the new location, in a Facebook video posted earlier this week. “We’ll have that date to you soon but unfortunately that does mean we’re going to have to close our doors at Chick Fil-A on Commerce Avenue.”

“We’re so thankful for all the support, we’re thankful for each and every one of you, but we are going to be closing down. We are going to need a couple of days to get everything cleaned up and then get moved over here to Hills & Dales. We’re excited to welcome to you here.”
