On Tuesday, Your Buried Treasure officially opened its doors to its new location with a ribbon cutting held by the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.

Owned by LaGrange local Ron Garrett, Your Buried Treasure is an antiques and collectibles shop newly located at 1902 Roanoke Rd.

“We were located at a different location in town until we moved out to the west side of LaGrange. We really like it out here and have a lot of new customers and vendors,” Garrett said.

Garett said right now the store has 45 vendors. He said having the support of the community and their vendor on their store opening was amazing.

“My vendors make me look good. When people tell me how nice the place looks, how clean it is and how organized all the booths are, I tell them it’s not me but my vendors doing it,” Garrett said. “They’re making me look good and I appreciate that. We cater to our vendors and try to do what we can to help them make money so we all can make money.”

At the time of publication, Garrett said the shop is out of booths for rent but interested parties are welcome to join their waiting list until a spot becomes open.

Upon officially opening in a new location, Garrett said it feels good to be back.

This is about our one-year anniversary of when we first started in town, so after a year of getting vendors together and moving them to a new location, we’re relieved to be here and feel like we’re home now,” Garrett said.

In LDN’s 2023 Best of Troup County ceremony, Your Buried Treasure won Best Antique Store.

“Being voted number one in Troup County is the biggest compliment I ever got. I didn’t even know it was happening but to be voted number one was great. I appreciate the people in town voting for us,” Garrett said. “We try to make you feel at home and support hometown people,” Garrett said.
