Mrs. Betty June Copen Field, age 89, of LaGrange, passed away on Sept. 3, 2023.
Mrs. Field was born on June 23, 1934, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Fred Copen and Masil Bodkins Copen.
She loved to work with plants and flowers and was a Gardener for many years at Pikes Nursery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Rannie Lee Field, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Drema Robertson (Larry), Tammy Schneider (Terry) and Rannie L. Field, III (Tonya); brothers, Jim Copen and Jerry Copen (Sue); grandchildren, Christopher Field, Destin Schneider, Hugh Robertson, Sean Robertson (Lori) and Robin Turner; eight great-grandchildren and extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at 11 A.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Pastor Mike Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
Family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5 P.M.-7 P.M.
