20-year-old killed in shooting on North Cary Street

On Saturday at approximately 1:32 p.m.the LaGrange Police responded to 64 North Cary Street (Woodglenn Apartments) in reference to a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject identified as Gerald Jerome Burden Jr , 20, suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a LPD press release. Emergency medical personnel tended to Burden on scene and then transported him to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
