Divers from the Columbus Dive Team are looking for a Cobb County man who fell off a boat near Liberty Hill Park and is presumed to have drowned.

According to Troup County Sheriff’s Deputies, the 33-year-old fisherman had been fishing with friends overnight and fell into the water.

Witnesses told police the man grabbed his chest before falling in, leading investigators to suspect he suffered a heart attack.

A 911 call was received about the incident around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. As of 11:30 a.m. divers are still looking for the victim.
