Mrs. Angela Brewer-Laye passed away Thursday.
She was born July 10, 1968, to the late James Gholston and Thenola Brewer Gholston in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.
She united with New Beginning Baptist Church, grudated from Troup High School, and West Georgia Tech, and retired from the Georgia Dept of Labor.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Chuckey Laye; daughter, Kenyatta (Jasmine) Stewart; two grandchildren; half-sisters: Jan (Chuck) Singleton, Fairburn, Georgia; Janice (Terry) Stinson, Hogansville, Georgia; half-brother, James “Bro” (Andrea) Gholston, LaGrange, Georgia; two brothers-in-law: Michael (Jackie) Laye and Tracey Laye, all of LaGrange, Georgia; god-sister, Mrs. Vickie Dudley; aunts: Mrs. Annie Maude Kelly, Brooklyn, NY; Mrs. Barbara White, LaGrange, Georgia; uncles: Mr. Nathaniel Brewer, Orlando, FL; and Mr. Leon Brewer, LaGrange, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The Service will be Saturday at 11 A.M. in the Sanctuary of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
The excellent care of Mrs. Laye is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
