Mrs. Clarice Freeman passed away on Nov. 22, 2023. She was born in Lauderdale County, Alabama on Oct. 28, 1937, to the late Elphia Foster and Martha Clark Foster. 

She was a member of SunRise Baptist Church in Newnan.

Mrs. Freeman is preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Jesse Freeman; her brothers, John Foster, Don Foster, and Gary Foster; her sister, Teresa Adams. 

She is survived by her children, Jena Honea (William) of Newnan, Georgia, Jay Freeman of LaGrange, Georgia, and Jerry Freeman (Christine) of Gay, Georgia; her 3 grandchildren, Matthew DeCairo of Douglasville, Georgia, Katheryn Curry (Ryan) of LaGrange, Georgia, and Victoria Lamb (Taylor) of Newnan, Georgia; her brothers, John Foster (Barbara) of Phil Cambell, Alabama, Don Foster (Lorna) of Davidson, Mississippi, and Gary Foster of Phil Campbell, Alabama; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family received friends at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023. 

The funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at the funeral home. 

The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. 

Pastor Don Helms will officiate the service.
