James Kenneth “Kenny” Null, age 72, of Five Points, Alabama passed away on January 6, 2024, after an extended illness at Traylors Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 14, 1951, to the late Burton C. Null and Mary Emma Longshore Null in LaGrange, Georgia. Before his retirement, he worked in sales of Plumbing and Electrical Supplies for over 45 years in sales. He enjoyed watching Alabama Football, Pro Wrestling, and NASCAR Races and he always had an appetite for a good grilled steak. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son whom he adored, Ryan Null; sister, Linda Steele; brothers, David Null, and Ricky Null.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Shannon Null, of Five Points, Alabama; grandson, Jace Null; granddaughter, Jasmine Bryant; brother-in-law, Terry Steele; grandcat, Nellie Jo Null; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will have visitation on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Welch, Alabama.
