Local bridal boutique An Affair to Remember is hosting its annual Prom Fashion Show to kick off the 2024 prom season on Jan. 9.
An Affair to Remember has kept its strong tradition of hosting prom fashion shows for over a decade. The show will feature many prom dresses from renowned designers such as Sherri Hill, Jovani, Tarik Ediz, Alyce Paris, Faviana, Mori Lee and more.
The show is split into two seatings with one starting at 1 p. m. and the other at 3 p.m. The show is designed to allow girls to choose their dream prom dress for their big day. The event is free and will be open to everyone, but space is limited to approximately 50 seats per sitting. Many girls from across the West Georgia area travel to LaGrange to see the boutique’s unique dress designs.
“We have a great community here, and we have a lot of girls that also come from out of town as well,” Owner of An Affair to Remember Amy Warren said. “We’re a pretty good destination for prom attire, and we get many girls from Columbus, Peachtree City and more.”
At the end of the show, girls shopping for their prom dresses will be given a chance to take a closer look at the 2024 lineup.
“So the fashion show is going to showcase all of the different trends that are happening this year,” Warren said. “Then, we give the girls time afterward to try on and find their own dress. We also will have giveaways and typically there’s a weekend or a show discount when they come as well.”
For those who cannot make it to the show but still want to visit the boutique to review prom dresses, Warren encourages all clients to book an appointment with her and her team in order to find the best possible match for them. Warren also has walk-in appointments available to customers who may be in a rush.
An Affair to Remember has been in business for over 16 years. Though the prom season is underway, the boutique will be hosting a bridal fashion show soon.
