The City of LaGrange will host a memorial car show and ride to honor the late W.T. Edmondson in April.

The event titled, “Ride for Mayor Willie T.” will be held at Sweetland Amphitheatre on Saturday, April 13.

All money raised from the event will go to Mayor Edmondson’s Scholarship Fund which was created with the inaugural Mayor’s Christmas Ball in December.

All vehicles are welcome in the car show, which will have trophies for winners in various categories. Entry in the car show is $25 but admission is free for the public.

After the show, a memorial car ride will be held to Mayor Edmondson’s hometown in Antioch.

The car show will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to noon with the memorial ride to Antioch from noon to 12:30 p.m.
