Woman struck by gunfire in vehicle, 2-year-old also in vehicle

A woman was struck by gunfire as she pulled into a residence on Truitt Avenue Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 11:43 p.m. ET at 1009 Truitt Avenue.
The victim was transported to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center for further treatment. Her child’s father and 2-year-old son and were also in the vehicle but they were uninjured.
