Georgia Tech and Chamber to co-host extreme temperature class

Rachel Gonzalez with Georgia Tech’s Safety, Health and Environmental Services will be visiting LaGrange and hosting a special training class, “Temperature Extremes in the Workplace.” This July 16 training is free to attend and should be an informative and useful session to reduce heat related accidents at work. Please come out and attend.

The class will be held July 16, 2024 from 8 to 9 a.m. at LaGrange Chamber of Commerce on Bull Street in LaGrange.

This one-hour class will highlight how to identify, respond to, and prevent heat and cold stress disorders in the workplace. A particular emphasis will be placed on the prevention of heat stress. This is a free training developed under a Susan Harwood Targeted Topic Training Grant.
