LAGRANGE, Georgia – On July 8, 2024, at approximately 1:49 AM, officers responded to 108 West Cannon Street in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile had received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the back.

Officers administered aid to the victim until LaGrange Fire and EMS arrived on the scene. The juvenile was transported to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center where he received further treatment. The Criminal Investigations Division was called to the scene and began an investigation into the shooting. The shooter is unknown at this time.
