UPDATE: Suspect caught in Borton Street Robbery

UPDATE: A suspect, identified as a 14-year-old, was arrested today on the charges of Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault.
LaGrange Police are investigating a pair of armed robberies that were reported over the weekend.
The first incident occurred on Sunday evening around 6 p.m. on Borton Street.
LPD officers responded to the 700 block of Borton Street upon reports of an armed robbery. Officers arrived and made contact with the victim, who stated he was in the area of Borton Street when he was flagged down by a juvenile subject only known to him as “Big Man.”
The victim stated a conversation took place with the juvenile concerning his wanting to buy a ski mask he had in his possession. The victim stated during the conversation the juvenile struck him with a pistol to his head and took the ski mask from him before fleeing on foot.
The second robbery occurred later Sunday night and into Monday morning on Hogansville Rd.
Officers responded to Orchard Trace Apartments to the second robbery and met with the victim, who stated he was getting out of his vehicle in the parking lot and 0was approached by two black males armed with a pistol and a rifle.
The victim stated the subjects demanded his money, so he up his wallet and the suspects fled on foot.
