The Troup County School System has issued a reminder to the community on safety procedures for upcoming athletic events Callaway Stadium and other school system athletic facilities.

The following rules will need to be followed for the upcoming football season:

4Only clear bags are allowed in the game.

4No full face mask or coverings.

4No loitering before, during, or after the game.

4Current TCSS policy is that no student who has been suspended, assigned to The HOPE Academy or has been expelled is allowed to attend school events.

4No re-entry. There will be signs posted notifying attendees of that practice.

4Everyone will be screened with a weapon detection system before entering the stadium.

4Elementary and Middle school students must be accompanied by an adult during the game.

4High school students must have their student ID upon entry with their ticket to the game.

Dallis Street will also be closed in front of Callaway Stadium from Panther Way to Elm Street starting 30 minute before each football game.

TCSS says the purpose of these security measures is to allow for a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants during the games.
