Last Friday, Troup County High School was notified that it is one of 50 high schools across the country to receive $5,000 as part of T-Mobile’s recently launched “T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights”!

The $5,000 award will help to support Troup County’s football program.

The Friday Night 5G Lights program will also give one small-town school, like Troup County High School, a chance to win a $2 million grand prize football field technology makeover. In addition, 16 finalists will each receive $25,000 and 300 schools will each receive $5,000 throughout the competition’s entry period to support high school football programs nationwide. Nothing brings that spirit out quite like high school football.

Troup County High School is still in the competition to receive the ultimate grand prize.
