Hector no longer forecast to be a tropical storm. It weakened to a remnant on Thursday

On Thursday at 4 am, the National Hurricane Center issued the last advisory for the remnant system. Hector has lost momentum and has regressed from a tropical storm to a remnant, with winds of 35 miles per hour.

Remnants of Hector are 1305 miles east of Hilo Hawaii, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving 13 mph to the west.
