Tropical Storm Hone: Thursday, Aug 29 development update from the National Hurricane Center

According to the National Hurricane Center’s 10 am Thursday advisory, Tropical Storm Hone is 900 miles west of Honolulu Hawaii and 605 miles southeast of Midway Island, with maximum sustained wind of 40 mph. It’s moving 9 mph to the west-northwest.

“A turn toward the north-northwest is expected Friday night through the weekend.” according to meteorologists. “Little change in strength is forecast during the next couple of days.”
