LAGRANGE, Georgia – On September 2, 2024, at approximately 8:23 pm, officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to 803 Fourth Avenue in reference to damaged property. The caller reported their house was struck with gunfire while they were not home.

A neighbor reported hearing several gunshots sometime between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm. While officers were checking the area, they discovered the house located next door at 1301 Elm Street was also struck several times with gunfire. This residence was occupied by several people, including children, at the time it was fired upon. None of the parties involved in this incident reported any injuries.
