There was a lot of talk from coaches and media in the offseason about Callaway alumni Tank Bigsby having an expanded role on offense this season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. That was no longer talk on Sunday as the Jaguars traveled to take on the Miami Dolphins, losing a 20-17 thriller.

Tank Bigsby was the leading rusher in the game for either team, totaling 73 rushing yards on 12 carries.  A lot was made about who would receive more touches in the backfield and Bigsby had just two less than starting running back Travis Etienne. But while Etienne only totaled 44 rushing yards, 15 receiving yards and a costly fumble late in the game, Bigsby made the most of his opportunities.

Bigsby had the longest rushing play in the game by either team when he rumbled 26 yards out of his own end zone late in the third quarter.

Bigsby and the Jaguars will return to action next Sunday when they travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns in a game featuring two local players in action as Troup alumni Jamari Thrash is a rookie for the Browns.
