The Rotary Club of LaGrange is proud to present Running for Rotary, a Certified 5K Road Race featuring The Thread, at 8:30 on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

The 5K Road Race is a chip timed event on USATF certified course and is an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event. The 5K event will start at Granger Park in LaGrange, wind through LaGrange entirely on The Thread, and the finish line and end of event activities will be held at the Granger Park Track area.

As with our inaugural 5K in 2023, all net proceeds raised through this event will be used to support literacy efforts and other Rotary projects.

Last year’s proceeds benefited the following local literary programs.

• Success by Six
• Literacy Volunteers of Troup County
• Troup Certified Literate Community Program
• Troup Family Connection Authority
• West Georgia STAR
