On Friday at 4 am, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that the tropical depression is 955 miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving 14 mph to the west-northwest. The tropical depression is expected to change into a tropical storm today (Friday).
