Karma is patient. Karma is watching. Karma is just when at least expected, karma unleashes the mighty thunderbolts of the mythical land of Valhalla through Thor’s hammer and strikes the one who caused the pain. “  Author Unknown

I can say that I have never seen a human being harm another person without provocation and not receive punishment in return. I have seen many guilty people go free and many free people be found guilty in court.

Courts of law cannot always get it right, that a guilty man who is set free someday experiences a great tragedy in his life.

This happens outside of the courtroom as well.

I reference the case of Jimmy Longer, who was a bully. He saw a small semi-special-needs child playing on the playground. His bully instincts got the best of him, and he went over and beat him so badly that YoungBoy had to be taken to the hospital. His job was broken, his ribs were broken, but most importantly, his spirit was broken. Jimmy just laughed and told his buddies what he had done and they gave him high-fives.

It took YoungBoy eight months to recover from his injuries, but he never recovered his dignity nor his spirit. YoungBoy would live the shame and embarrassment of this beating, but would eventually recover.

Fast-forward, YoungBoy, who was also autistic, became a computer analyst for the Department of Defense. He married and had three boys.

Jimmy, who was in and out of jail for Minor violations, continued to bully others, disrespect the law, and generally be a menace to society. He truly believed that he was invincible then one day as Jimmy, drunk and stoned, walked out in front of a semi, needless to say, Jimmy was instantly killed at the age of 30 years old.

The lesson here is that if we harm others for no reason at all, our day is coming. It may be soon, it may be far away, but it will come. That is a fact.

Those who harm you, let Karma take its time to make things right.
