Due to the severe weather conditions expected from Hurricane Helene, the Harris County School District (HCSD) has announced several schedule changes to upcoming athletic and extracurricular events for Harris County High School (HCHS). While some events remain on schedule, others have been postponed or rescheduled for later dates.

Harris County High School Revised Schedule:

• Softball vs. Starr’s Mill, originally scheduled for tonight, has been rescheduled to Thurs., Oct. 3 at Starr’s Mill.
• Volleyball vs. Griffin, originally scheduled for tomorrow night, has been rescheduled to Mon., Oct. 7 at Griffin.
• JV Cheer will still compete at the Troup High School Invitational – Performance time is 11:30 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 28.
• Band will still compete at Armuchee High School on Sat., Sept. 28.
• Softball will still participate in the LaGrange Tournament on Sat., Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• The Home JV Volleyball Tournament is still scheduled for Sat., Sept. 28 with a start time of 9 a.m.
• The Flag Football Scrimmage scheduled for Sat., Sept. 28 at 10:00 a.m. remains unchanged.

• The Varsity Football game vs. Northside, originally scheduled for Fri., Sept. 27, will now be played at home on Sat., Sept. 28:
  • Gates open at 12:30 p.m.
  • Kickoff is at 2 p.m.

Harris County Carver Middle School Revised Schedule

• Football game, originally scheduled for Thurs., Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m. will now be played at home on Oct. 10 at 5:30 p.m.
