Mrs. Sarah L. Maynor-Williams passed away Thursday.

She was born on Oct. 19th to the late James and Janie Maynor in St. Pauls, North Carolina.

She graduated from Eastside High School in St. Pauls, North Carolina and received her Bachelor’s from Elmira College and her Master’s from Fisk University; and served as an educator for over 25 years.

She served at Clifton United Methodist Church, Decatur, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie J. Williams, Decatur, GA; daughter, Kirsten-Joi Williams, Ellenwood, GA; sister, Alma (Thomas) Greene, Knightdale, NC; three brothers:  James E. Maynor, Wesley Chapel, FL; Angus (Anna) Maynor, St. Pauls, NC; and Basil Maynor, St. Pauls, NC; one aunt, Mary H. Maynor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 3 P.M. at Burks Chapel UM Church.

The excellent care of Mrs. Williams is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
