School update from Troup County School System

All Troup County Schools and System Offices will be closed on Thursday, September 26th, and Friday, September 27th, due to Tropical Storm/Hurricane Helene.
All after-school activities on those days are canceled or, if necessary, rescheduled. A decision will be made for Saturday events at a later time.
This decision comes after the TCSS administration attended a 12:30 p.m. weather briefing Wednesday with Troup County Emergency Management Agency, the National Weather Service – Peachtree City, and other county and city officials.
As we monitor weather conditions and the impact in our area, we will notify you of any other schedule changes. We eagerly anticipate the return of our students and staff on Monday, September 30th.
As always, our top priority is the safety of our staff and students. We urge everyone to use caution and be safe.
