Sweetland Amphtheatre has announced that the Friday’s concert featuring Lyle Lovette and his Large Band has been postponed due to Hurricane Helene.
The Sep. 27 Lyle Lovett show at Sweetland has been postponed to 2025.
Due to Gov. Brian Kemp’s State of Emergency order in response to the threat of Hurricane Helene in Georgia the show will be moved to next year.
“The risk to all involved from patrons to Lyle’s drivers, musicians, and others traveling to LaGrange from all over the country combined with the potential aftereffects of flooding and loss of power outweighed the need to ‘have the show go on,’” Sweetland said.
