Mrs. Katie Violet Stephens Holloway, 63, passed away Thursday.

She was born Dec. 29, 1960, to Willie Stephens and Ruby Kate Cameron in LaGrange, Georgia.

Katie joined New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, was educated in Troup County and West Georgia Technical College, where she earned a degree in accounting. Katie was employed at Badcock & More, where she dedicated over 30 years of service. 

Survivors include two sons:  Kelcey D. Stephens and Andre Jaz (Rozshica) Richardson; one daughter, Nikki R. (Mikal) McClurkin; several grandchildren; mother, Ruby Kate Cameron; siblings:  Tommie (Elaine) Stephens, Jerome Stephens, Anthony Stephens, Valeria Stephens, Jeffery Stephens, Brenda (Luther) Stephens, and Michelle (Zachary) Ogletree; her aunt, Minnie Pearl Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Service will be Wednesday at 1 P.M. at New Mt. Olive Knotts Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mrs. Holloway is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
