Callaway alumni Tank Bigsby’s breakout sophomore season in the NFL continued in a big way on Sunday as the running back had a career game to lead the Jacksonville Jaguars to their first  win of the season over the Indianapolis Colts 37-34.

The former Cavalier led the team in rushing yards for the third time this season and in back-to-back games. He turned 13 carries into 103 yards and two touchdowns while the next leading rusher for the Jaguars, Travis Etienne Jr., had just 17 yards on the ground. Bigsby also added a catch for 28 yards.

This was the first 100-yard rushing game in the NFL for Bigbsy.

Bisgby’s first touchdown of the game and subsequently the season came from 19 yards out to put the Jaguars up 20-10 late in the third quarter. Bigbsy broke through four Colts’ defenders en route to the end zone.

That was just the appetizer for what was to come as Bigsby delivered a monster 65-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put the Jaguars up 34-20.

Jacksonville moved to 1-4 on the season. Bigbsy and the team will be back in action next Sunday against the Chicago Bears in London.
