On Monday at Great Wolf Lodge, the Goodwill Career Center in LaGrange will host its largest hiring event of the year.

From 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 14, more than 50 employers will be at Great Wolf Lodge looking for potential employees.

Career Center Manager Robert Goehring said they will also have community resources like Harmony House to help job seekers who might need them.

“What we call a multi-employer job fair because it’s a huge group of people, not only the industrial and KIA, those kinds of folks, but lots of other employers with lots of other kinds of jobs,” Goehring said. “It’s a good, diverse group of people.”

“We’ve done this thing twice before, but this year, I think we’ll definitely have over 300 job seekers there,” Goehring said.

In events such as these, job seekers can come just to get information, but be prepared. Many employers offer interviews right on the spot
