LAGRANGE, Georgia – On October 17, 2024, at approximately 0500 hours, Officers responded to Star Food Mart, located at 518 Miller Street, in regards to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the store clerk, Vikas Dhanba.

Dhanba stated he was behind the counter when a black female, wearing a ski mask, and dressed in all black, entered the store and pointed a small handgun towards him. Dhanba stated the subject demanded that he give her all the money. Dhanba stated he gave her an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the register and said the subject took flight on foot. This is an ongoing investigation.
