The Troup County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce a new program that allows survivors, victims of crimes, and other concerned citizens to access timely and reliable information about offenders and when they are released from custody.

The free, on-line service is called “Vine” and the company has partnered with jail facilities from across the country and the Troup County Jail recently went live with the service.

To sign up for the service citizens are asked to use the following link: https://vinelink.vineapps.com/state/GA/ENGLISH and at that point you will click on the “SEARCH FOR SOMEONE” link and search for the Offender/Defendant, located in Georgia. You will need to enter the first and last name in the tabs and click Search.

Once the person locates the correct Offender, they will then click on the “Get Notified” tab and then selects their notification preference. The website has easy to follow instructions on how to sign up and receive notifications and we hope our citizens find this service to be a useful tool.
