Ronald Charles Kelley, age 78 of LaGrange, GA passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Ronald was born in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Charles Owen Kelley and Lillian Mozelle Ryals Kelley.

Ronald attended North Georgia College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corps and served in the Vietnam War. During his service, he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with the Combat V, The Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, The Vietnam Service Medal with 2 stars and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with the Combat Action Ribbon. He was discharged as a First Lieutenant.

After his military service, he was employed with GMAC and retired as a Senior Finance Credit Manager. In his retirement, he enjoyed farming, traveling and golfing.

He is survived by his wife, Carol J Kelley and brother, Richard Daniel Kelley.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Foundation or Poplar Creek Senior Living in LaGrange, Ga.
