Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Carr passed away Saturday.

She was born Oct. 17, 1934 to the late Robert T. Broome and Lillian Flowers Broome in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.

She connected with the Pentecostal Faith, attended East Depot High School, and obtained her GED from West GA Tech.

She was employed as a CNA at City County Hospital, Volunteers of America, and the former Medcraft.

Survivors include her children:  Alfred L. (Donna) Moss, Oxford, AL; Doreatha A. (Willie James) Williams, and Shirley J. Truitt, LaGrange, GA; several grandchildren; siblings:  Lily Simpson, LaGrange, GA; Rose Mary Kirby and Marion Moss, both of Anniston, AL; and Gwendolyn Williams, LaGrange, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.

The Service will be Saturday at 3 P.M. at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mrs. Carr is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
