The Troup County School System has confirmed that a school bus was involved in an accident
Friday morning in West Point transporting students to Troup High School.

Details of the accident have not been released at this time but it does not appear that any students were seriously injured.

According to TCSS, the students were taken to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center for
evaluation as a precaution.

TCSS administrators assisted the students at the scene and at the hospital.

No further information has been released at this time.
