Officials from the Troup County Sheriff’s Office have confirmed that the Troup County School System bus carrying students to Troup High School was rear-ended in West Point.

None of the students are believed to have been seriously injured but multiple students were taken to the Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange for evaluation.

The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital in Columbus, Georgia for a leg injury according to TCSO.

The crash is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.
