LPD responds to two separate home shootings on Tuesday

LaGrange Police responded to two separate incidents of residential shootings on Tuesday. At 7:46 p.m., LPD was called to 419 Daniel Street in reference to shots fired into an occupied residence. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the victims who recounted how at some point during the night and early morning, a single round was discharged into their residence.

It was determined that a single round entered through the front of the residence and struck the kitchen wall. There were no injuries sustained. The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and responded to the location.

Later in the day, at 3:35 p.m., LPD responded to 150 Turner Street in reference to shots fired into multiple occupied residences. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the victims, a woman and numerous juveniles, who advised that their residence had been damaged by gunfire.

It was determined that multiple projectiles entered two apartments. There were no injuries sustained. The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and responded to the location.
