On December 4, 2024, at approximately 0700 hours, Officers responded to Star Food Mart, located at 518 Miller Street, regarding an armed robbery. Upon arrival Officers contacted the clerk. The clerk stated that a black male subject wearing all black, entered the store brandishing a handgun demanding money. The clerk stated the subject ran behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register, and then took flight on foot in an unknown direction. The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and responded to the location.
