On December 17 at 1:28 A.M., deputies with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Cochran Drive in reference to shots fired into the residence. Once on scene, deputies observed multiple shell casings in the roadway. Deputies then made contact with the residents inside a house that had what appeared to be several bullet holes in the front of the house. 

The home was occupied at the time of the shooting and fortunately no one was injured during this incident. If anyone has any information about this case, they are asked to call the Criminal Investigations Division at 706-883-1616 or Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
