Safe Families for Children West Georgia, a program of Twin Cedars Youth and Family Services, hosted the second annual Pancakes and Pajamas with Santa event on Monday, December 16th, at the Del’avant Event Center in LaGrange. 300 children and parents attended this fun-filled event featuring pancakes, bacon, fruit, YUMMY syrup, and sprinkles. The children enjoyed pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, did cookie decorating sponsored by Go Realty, crafts sponsored by Hollis Elementary Green Power Racing, met a nutcracker and ballerinas, danced and more.
Michelle Partain Photography photographed each child and their families with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Dancers and a Nutcracker were from Lafayette Society for Performing Arts and the Royal Dance Academy. Each table was beautifully decorated by businesses or individuals from within the community and featured themes such as Peanuts, Elves, Gingerbread, Nutcrackers, Sugar and Spice, Trains, and more.
Twin Cedars would like to thank the many individuals and businesses who decorated or sponsored the event. The Head Elf sponsor was the Hart Family Foundation, Inc. Sleigh Captains were ETI, Axis Milling, and The Brock Family. The Reindeer Wranglers were 4H Services and GW Landscapes. Snowflake Specialists were Children’s Clinic of LaGrange, Davison Bruce Foundation, and Childress Dental Center. The Holly Jolly Helpers were Selma Gore and Cynthia Hull.
