The LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce is set to host its third annual Chairman’s Gala.

The black-tie optional celebration will be held at the Callaway Conference Center at West Georgia Technical College on Friday, Jan. 24.

The gala will include the annual awards given out by the chamber, which have traditionally been awarded at the chamber’s Early Bird Breakfast. The event also replaces the Chamber’s annual meeting where Chamber members will vote on the annual slate of officers and the Board of Directors for 2025.

The following awards will be presented at the Chairman’s Gala:

  • Small Business of the Year
  • Large Business of the Year
  • Nonprofit of the Year
  • Manufacturer of the Year
  • Young Professional of the Year
  • Tom Hall Innovation Award
  • Commissioner Richard English Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Ida Tarver Jones Volunteer of the Year Award
  • Otto Korth Diplomat of the Year Award
  • Jane Fryer Award

One additional award is being added this year to honor longtime Chamber and community member, George Bailey. The George Bailey Spirit of Community Award will be given out in recognition of the former Hogansville City Councilman.

“Everyone is welcome to come,” said Chamber President Connie Hensler. “The event is geared toward our members, but if you are thinking about Chamber membership or interested in some of the things that we do, it would be a great opportunity to come and network.”

“It’s a great way to support a business that was nominated for one of the awards,” she added.

Tickets are available via the Chamber website. Seating is limited and reservations must be made by Jan. 10.

Sponsorships are still available for the event.

The 2025 Chairman’s Gala will be held on Friday, Jan. 24 at the Callaway Conference Center at 220 Fort Drive in LaGrange. Registration begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and program to follow.
