Mrs. Betty C. Echols Wheeler passed away Sunday.
She was born November 19, 1945, to the late Raymond Echols and Annie B. Haynes Echols in Troup County, Georgia. She became a baptized Witness of Jehovah on July 30, 1977.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Lonetha Thompson; son, Mr. Linnis Thompson; stepdaughter, Shakeithia Wheeler; beloved grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bessie M. (David) Burts; one brother, Mr. James Smith, Jr.; long time friend, Annie Hall; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and the entire West and East Congregation of brothers and sisters of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The excellent care of Mrs. Wheeler is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
