The LaGrange girls basketball team could not keep up its momentum from a win over Ola last time out as they suffered a 49-37 loss to an undefeated Heard County team.

Corriah Williams offered a spark for the Grangers offense with 13 points including two 3-pointers. Peyton Swint and Brittney Heard were second on the team with seven points. Myia Thornton and Zykia Gray each hit a basket as well, but offense was hard to come by on the night. 

LaGrange trailed 13-5 after the first quarter and the Grangers could not find a way to claw back into the game.

LaGrange falls to 2-6 on the season, but the Grangers are 2-2 in their last four games. The Grangers will return to the court on the road against Tri-Cities on Saturday.
