A prayer circle will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. at Lafayette Square.

The event is being organized by LaGrange City Councilmen Leon Childs and Willie Edmondson.

Childs said the group will be praying for families that homes were damaged due to the storm at Baldwin Park and Lexington Park as well as other areas around Troup County.

“The damage was bad, but thankfully no one was killed,” Childs said.
