The Callaway boys soccer team eased to its first win on the season in a 5-1 victory over Chattahoochee County on Tuesday. 

It was just what the Cavaliers needed after dropping their two opening games of the season. 

Freshman Ricky Vaughn has been sensational so far this season and scored two goals on the night to lead the way for the Cavaliers. Nelson Herrera and Journee Jordan scored a goal apiece. Eli Jones scored the final goal for Callaway and pulled off a superb celebration that looked straight out of a gymnast’s book. 

Callaway improved to 1-2 on the young season. The Cavaliers will host Kendrick on Thursday with the game likely to be played at Callaway Stadium because of weather.
